عالم رياضة المحركات ينعى الرحيل المفاجئ لأسطورة ناسكار كايل بوش

كان كايل بوش، بطل سلسلة كأس ناسكار مرتين وصاحب 762 مشاركة خلال مسيرته، أحد أساطير هذه الرياضة بلا منازع. 

وبفضل تحقيقه 234 انتصاراً عبر الفئات الوطنية الثلاث، وضع نفسه في مكانة خاصة لا ينافسه فيها أحد. وإلى جانب وجوده ضمن أكثر عشرة سائقين تحقيقاً للانتصارات في تاريخ سلسلة الكأس، لم يقترب أي سائق من حجم نجاحه في سلسلتي "أو رايلي" و"الشاحنات".

توفي بوش بعد معاناة مع مرض لم يُكشف عنه عن عمر 41 عاماً، تاركاً خلفه زوجته سامانثا، وابنه المتسابق بريكستون البالغ من العمر 11 عاماً، وابنته لينيكس البالغة من العمر 4 أعوام.

وكانت ردود فعل مجتمع رياضة المحركات مليئة بالصدمة، خاصة أن بوش كان لا يزال ينافس، ويفوز، حتى الأسبوع الماضي، عندما حقق انتصاره رقم 69 في سلسلة الشاحنات على حلبة دوفر موتور سبيدواي.

وبعد انتصاره رقم 234 والأخير الأسبوع الماضي، قال بوش إنه كان مميزاً "لأنك لا تعرف أبداً متى يكون الأخير".
