Ben Hunt is the Chief Motorsport Writer at Autosport. Ben joined from The Sun where he spent 12 years working as the newspaper's F1 journalist and motorsport columnist.

Prior to working in motorsport, Ben worked in sport for a further 10 years and covered international football matches, Premier League games, Ryder Cups, Ashes Tests and snooker tournaments. He has been bylined in every UK national newspaper.

Ben is a graduate of Aberystwyth, University of Wales and studied his post-graduate diploma in journalism at City University, London.

He is the author of Lando Norris: A biography (2023), and Growing Wings: The Inside Story of Red Bull Racing (2024).
